Does anyone else have a problem with spam? Not the food--which I'm sure is disgusting, even though I've never eaten it--but in reference to the internet?
I've been getting a lot of spam comments on my blog posts lately. Usually about fake James Bond watches, Chinese dresses, etc. It's irritating and I don't know how to stop it.
Any suggestions?

My commenting system used to filter them out but now that it's a paid service and I'm still using the old version, not so much.
Change your moderation settings to see the posts before approving them.
This started happening to me too a few months ago, and I HATE captchas so I was really debating what I should do. (I see you have one, I don't blame you, haha!)
What I ended up doing was moderating comments on posts older than 14 days. Most of the spam I was getting was on stuff I've written a while ago, and now I just reject them before they get a chance to be published!

You should be thankful you even get comments. I just started my blog earlier this month and not one comment yet. So just change the loved & lost phrase to: It's better to be commented and spammed than to never be commented at all :)
